It offers some balancing activity, but leans more towards anti-depressant, and anti-anxiety activity. The anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, activity makes this oil a great choice for your acne, oily skin, product lines, as well, where it will help to improve those conditions without over-drying the skin. This refreshing essential oil offers a fresh, minty, slightly citrus aroma. Bergamot mint contains linalool and linalyl acetate. Due to these two components, the oil offers the following properties among many others: analgesic, anti-inflammatory, calming, anti-spasmodic, sedative. Use in the bath, in massage blends for relaxation, calming blends to reduce anxiety, in perfumery. Blends well with basil, citrus oils, lavender and rose.
