This display contains 3 items 3 items are shrink-wrapped on acid-free foam core and measure “11 1/2” by “23” From left to right, the first item on the foam core is a flier that explains “the Democratic Medical Care Insurance Plan for Aged”, with 9 Points. The second item is a handout sheet that says:”Vote Democratic on Nov. 6 for Medicare”and JFK’s way is the American way- Back Medicare. Shows a Medicare card ( administered by Social Security) , and a letter to the voter signed by JFK. The third item is a picture of JFK, a quote from him announcing the introduction of the Hospital Insurance Act at a press conference on February 21, 1963. There is a picture of a Medicare (Social Security) card stating Hospital Insurance for all at 65 for only .25 cents a week! There is a lot of writing on the back. The other two items are fliers.
