Description
This offer is for a lot of 24 historic 4x6 color photos featuring the 1973/74 Philadelphia Flyers hockey team during their very first NHL Stanley Cup Championship Victory Parade and 19 historic 4x6 color photos featuring the 1974/75 Flyers in their second straight championship parade all presented together in a 4x6 photo album. That's a total of 43 prints. The images showcase the team and their fans celebrating back-to-back victories , with a focus on the excitement and energy of the parades. People were riding on top of police cars and busses, climbing up traffic signal poles, hanging out of office windows and parking garages, and marching in the street. The images show crowds of Flyers fans jamming the streets of Philadelphia to see the Stanley Cup team in both parades. Captured are shots of team owner Ed Snyder , coach Fred Shero , Bernie Parent, Bobby Clarke, Tom Bladon, Rick MacLeish, Don Saleski, Bobby Taylor, Andre DuPont, Terry Crisp, Ross Lonsbury, Dave Schultz, Gary Dornhoffer, TV commentators Gene Hart and Don Earle, and even Mayor Frank Rizzo. And of course, Philadelphia String Bands . Even a group of Hare Krishna's were there. How long has it been since the Flyers were NHL champions, and how long will we have to wait until it happens again? The photographs are a must-have for any hockey fan or collector. Add this amazing collection to your own personal collection or gift it to a fellow fan. These are recent prints made from scans of the original negatives that I took at both parades. Also included is a Flyers Rally Towel from Military Appreciation Night on November 4, 2023. BUY IT NOW or MAKE AN OFFER. ALL OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED.
